Working through our custom design service you will have a dedicated designer from start to finish. Our design studio takes on a limited number of custom design projects a year so you can be sure that your wedding branding and stationery get the time and care they deserve.

Select from our pre designed suites that include all of the whimsical watercolor details that you are looking for in your wedding invitations. From there we have options to customize the color palette, printing style, paper and add a wide variety of embellishments to create  something that fits you and your unique style and aesthetic. Or choose a template and customize away!

Looking for a watercolor venue painting or custom monogram? We offer a variety services from line sketch drawings, spot calligraphy and custom pattern creation. Oh and what we started out with of course, envelope calligraphy!

Our Process

01. inquire

Maybe you know exactly what you are here for or maybe you have a million questions! Either way fill out our contact form and we can definitely get you headed in the right direction. From here we can indicate options or set up a consultation to chat in more depth about your project.

02. Consultation

All Scripted Shindig clients start with a one on one consultation by video chat, email or in person. We will chat about your wedding paper needs, wedding theme, and stationery budget. Feel free to bring all those inspirational photos and ideas; we want to hear all of it!

03. Custom Quote & Booking

Once we have discussed all the details we will prepare a detailed quote and contract. You should expect to receive this 24-48 hours after your consultation. This includes all the details you will need to book and secure your spot on our schedule for design.

04. Design & Production

Now for the fun part, the design process! From the initial design to the finished product we will be with you the whole way. Digital proofing is provided for all design projects. Then it is off for production and then delivery to you and all of your guests!

On average we book our custom clients 8 months prior to their event and semi custom around 4 months prior. However, we are able to accommodate shorter timelines for intimate affairs. We recommend that once you have your venue booked to contact us. This will allow you to secure your spot on our calendar. From there we will start the design process.

Think anything you might need at your event. Place cards, menus, signage, seating charts just to name a few. We are a full service design studio so chances are if it goes on paper (or even if it doesn’t: I see you custom welcome bags!) chances are we can help you with that.

Maybe you got so excited about all other details that you are just now circling back to your invites. Or maybe you just happen to love simplicity and want to choose from a base and start there. Either way we have an option to help you fulfill your watercolor wedding stationery dreams! This is where templates and semi custom options might be a perfect fit. Browse our offerings here.

You betcha it is! he best part about custom wedding invitation design is that we can add special elements that are unique to you as a couple or the special place you plan to wed. This could include a custom wedding monogram, venue sketch or watercolor illustrations. All of these details are part of our artistic process and included in all custom design projects. Even if you decide to go with a template or semi custom option you can always add on a custom artwork option as well.

We get this is definitely a full sensory experience. I mean if you have ever felt 100% cotton paper you know what I mean! I work with clients worldwide so the option of an in person meet and greet isn’t always possible. For this I would be more than happy to send a sample kit ($15) that includes our most common papers and printing styles along with popular embellishments. If you do choose to book with us the cost of the sample kit will be credited to your account. 

Great question! Our semi custom options include a little more hand holding and more customization options than our DIY templates. With semi custom options we can apply custom options and we take care of the production side as well. Templates allow you to flex those DIY muscles. You are able to customize them yourself and print at a convenient printer for you.
